My love for the outdoors started when I was a youngin'. My grandmother has been taking me to Allegany State Park in Salamanca, New York since before I can remember. I've been taught at a young age to appreciate nature's beauty.
Nature has zero flaws, no filters, no touch ups, nothing. It's just there as its truest form. Nothing but pure perfection.
My passion for photography started because of my love for nature.
if i had a dating profile, my bio would be "if i don't look at you the way i look at a national park, keep walking."

- Toxic Trait - Every show or movie I watch, I become emotionally invested in the characters and cry at the drop of a hat if anything bad happens to them. That or I truly talk about the show like I am apart of the friend group.

- I shoot various forms of photography. Which means, I will do poses, but I thrive from candids.

I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and eventually moved to a little town in Clarion, Pennsylvania, namely Rimersburg. When I tell you there is nothing in that area, I'm not kidding. A little town consisting of a Funeral Home, a gas station, and a four way stop sign as the main intersection. Though I'm grateful for what I endured there, I had to leave.
Which leads me to my profession outside of photography. I immediately enlisted in the United States Army Reserves and moved back to Northwest Pennsylvania. I started college and graduated with an Associates in Criminal Justice. My full time career is Law Enforcement where I do daily Patrol, Animal Investigations, and am apart of the Forensics Unit.
Outside of that career, I needed a "hobby". So I took my love for the outdoors and a die hard people pleaser personality to start portrait photography for everyone. By everyone, I mean EVERYONE.
July of 2023, Dark Moon Photography was born.
